Named for the museum’s founding year, this inviting café offers a seasonal menu of elevated comfort food, crafted with care by Kris and Adrienne Cole—the husband-and-wife duo behind Marigold Catering Co. and House of Marigold. With a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, every dish reflects their passion for hospitality and dedication to creating a welcoming and delicious dining experience.
Whether you’re enjoying a business lunch, grabbing a latte before exploring the galleries, or indulging in a leisurely meal with family, est. 1927 by Marigold offers a thoughtfully curated menu in an intimate 46-seat setting. And because children are most welcome at the Speed, a kid-friendly menu is available.
Rooted in community and built on decades of fine dining experience, the Coles are proud to serve Louisville as a family-owned, female-owned, and Black-owned business.
